Bloods Vs. Crips
Crips a Bloods jsou 2 rozdílné gangy jejichž nevraživost přešla v průběhu 70.let minulého století ve válku. Crips vznikli z gangu který vyznačovalo teritoriální území Avenue Cribs /crib – v tomhle výrazu je slangově bejvák z kterého za neznámých důvodů pak vznikla odvozenina CRIP/. Na počátku roku 1972 se stáva gang nedílnou součástí Los Angeleské scény. V této době ale ještě nebyl na světě ani nejmenší náznak jejich současných soků Bloods. V létě 1972 se Crips a Pirus/další gang z Comptonu*/ dostaly do sporu ze kterého díky své početní přesile vyšly vítězně Crips. Pirus gang se ale nechtěl jen tak vzdát a celou rozepři se rozhodl řešit spojením s gangy Brims a Lueders Park Hustlers. A aby se v bojové vřavě poznali tak se rozhodli podobně jako Crips /v tu dobu již nosili modré šátky na důkaz začlenění do gangu/ nosit šátky. Rozhodli se pro barvu která bude dobře vidět a to červenou, červenou jako krev která bude prolita. Od toho vznikl i nový název tohoto gangu – BLOODS.
No a dnes…..říká se, že Crips jsou největším zabijákem Crips. Podle záznamů policejního úřadu zabývajícím se gangy v USA zabili Crips za posledních 12 let víc svých členů než Bloods za celých 23 let trvání jejich boje.
